“Dirty Jobs” on the Discover Channel had a great episode that included a printing press (June 27, 2006). Although not quite interesting to the regular person, it is a great example of the work involved for those in the marketing industry. It truly helps one to understand all the intricacies of the offset printing business (i.e. setting up machinery, manually mixing colors, running paper through perfectly, etc.), and why spot color work should never and probably will never reduce its market pricing.
